New Year's Cleaning

I never got around to getting all my Spring Cleaning finished so I figured I'd do a New Year's Cleaning. :) DH and I cleaned like crazy today. We got all the new presents from Christmas put away, the dishes washed and put away, our expired coupons all purged, counters bleach wiped, two bookshelves organized/cleaned/sorted through, the computer desk mostly cleaned and laundry done. It only took us four hours! :) Tomorrow I have big plans to finish sorting through my other bookshelf and DH sort through his, all our new coupons to be clipped and filed, mail sorted through and some cooking. I'm hoping to make some homemade chicken noodle soup, banana nut bread, pumpkin chocolate chip muffins and possibly some cookies baked. We are also going to make steaks and ranch potato wedges for dinner. I'm going to soak some pinto beans overnight and make Ham & Beans for Monday night. This way I should have plenty of food to take to work next week and DH should have plenty of food to eat while I'm at work. I'm not sure this will all get accomplished though because IT'S SNOWING right now!


We are definitely going to have to play in the snow tomorrow so I'm sure that will affect all I have planned to get accomplished! :) We have Mass tomorrow morning and I have to return some library books and pick up some more, as well. Busy, busy "lazy" Sunday. ;) I will post some pics to my blog above this post showing the clean areas in pics taken on my phone. I'm not sure how to send pics from my phone to blogger without posting them separately so this will have to work for now. :) I hope everyone had a Happy New Year! :)
